Turning a Guesthouse into my Dream Video Studio
Big changes are happening in our lives: a new house, a new video studio, and new adventures! My wife, Astrid, and I recently traded the bustling city for the tranquility of the countryside. Here’s a sneak peek into how we’re making the most of it.
Why We Made the Move
For years, we lived in a cozy but cramped rental. While it served us well, we knew it wasn’t our forever home. As content creators, we dreamed of having space to create freely without feeling boxed in. The new house is everything we hoped for—and more.
It comes with a spacious workshop and a charming guesthouse. But instead of hosting guests, we’re turning the guesthouse into something special: a dedicated content creation studio.
The 3×3 Video Studio: A Creator’s Playground
The studio setup is my hardware-nerd dream come true. I’m calling it the “3×3 Studio” because it features:
- Three cameras for dynamic, multi-angle shots.
- Three microphones to capture crystal-clear audio from any position.
- Nine strategically placed lights to make every shot shine.
The layout is designed for maximum flexibility. My desk anchors one side of the room, ideal for seated content. Across from it, there’s enough open space for standing videos. The best part? It’s all under one roof, optimized for efficiency and creativity.
Settling In: A Work in Progress
Of course, moving and setting up a studio doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why you might see fewer updates from me as we settle in. But rest assured, exciting projects are on the way. Once the studio is fully operational, it will be a hub for tutorials, live streams, and more.
Whether you’re a fellow content creator or just starting out, there’s no better time to invest in your craft. Video content continues to dominate online platforms, and having the right tools makes all the difference. If you’re thinking about upgrading your setup or diving into video creation, now’s the time to start planning.
Have a great weekend—and stay tuned for updates from the 3×3 Studio!
